Horticulture
Horticulture is much more than many homeowners think; A new plant or tree is not going to survive by simply digging a hole and putting it in the ground. The variables of soil quality, drainage, location and nutrient needs of various types of plants and trees is the difference between a healthy root system and a dead tree.
Arboriculture
Arboriculture is the planting and maintaining of trees, shrubs and bushes . At Martin Landscape we hand pick only the finest plants and materials from local suppliers. If arborvitaes lack an acceptable size rootball, we don't use it. If our sod delivery comes in with brown tips or too thin to survive, we send it back.
It is our high standards in the material selection process which gives us the confidence to say we did your job right. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance when it comes to installing a new fine landscape at your home.
Pruning
The objective of pruning is to produce strong, healthy, attractive plants. While many homeowners believe pruning is just "lopping off branches" which are in your way or look unhealthy, there is a lot more to it than just that, and pruning incorrectly can do more harm than good in regards to technique, branch selection and yield of fruit bearing trees.
Whether we are pruning for safety, aesthetics or for plant health, you can remain confident that you are getting professional service at an honest price. Don't run the risk of exposing your plants to diseases through an inexperienced pruners poor technique, call Martin Landscape today.
